Here’s a fast and easy recipe that is super healthy and will definitely become a regular mid-week pleaser.

Tandoori Fish Filets are best served with “Geera Style Rice and a crunchy salad. Some “Daal” as a sidedish would also be greatly appreciated.

This recipe is for 4 portions, but you can easily multiply or divide the amounts to serve any number of guests. All of my recipes and spice blends are original creations and use a minimum of fat, sugar and salt. Healthy, tasty food starts here. Taste the difference!

INGREDIENTS

* 4 fresh fish filets of your choice (225g (1/2 lbs) each)

* 120 ml (1/2 cup) of plain yogurt (2% m.f.)

* 10 ml (2 teaspoons) of Tandoori Masala by ohmasala.com

* 1.25 ml (1/8 teaspoons) of salt

* well rinsed and chopped cilantro stems and leaves and lime wedges for garnish

PROCEDURE

* Mix the Tandoori Masala with the yogurt and salt and marinate the fish filets for 30 to 60 minutes while you prepare the rest of the meal.

* Preheat the oven to 425*F with a lightly oiled cookie sheet on the center rack.

* Once the oven is heated, place the marinated fish filets onto the warm cookie sheet. For added flavour, you can spread any left over marinade directly onto the surfaces of the filets.

* Cook for 12 to 15 minutes depending on your oven.

* Serve the filets using two spatulas to avoid breaking them.

* Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro and a wedge of lemon right before serving.
